Headline News

I just walked by one of the muted big TVs at work, and the CNN headline flashed "Garrison Keillor backs Al Franken Senate run."

Wha...huh?

I can't find anything in the search engines about Franken and senate that's newer than May, though. CNN seems to be indicating a need to save your carpet scraps.

On the Keillor note, I guess I missed the release of this.

1 I never saw the appeal of Garrison Keillor. He was rather a dull, dry storyteller at best, with a voice that made Al Gore seem dynamic. And now I find out he doesn't know when to shut up, either? Lovely :-/

2 Welcome back Heather!!! I used to enjoy Keillor waaayyyy back in the days before he went over the edge. He was an extremely funny storyteller. Then someone told him he was popular and he completely fell apart. He's never been the same since. His humor went from gentle and genuinely funny, to sharp and nasty. Instead of laughing "with" people he was laughing "at" them. The New York and LA set love it - 'nuf said.
