Herby Health

Cilantro. Killer. (of bacteria).

Too bad I hate it. And I do mean hate. Tastes like dish soap. (Don't ask how I know).

Indulge if you like it, though. Could stop Salmonella, purveyor of severe vomiting and dehydration.

2 I third the motion. It is especially bad in hot sauce. A little is ok, but in excess, it ruins vast quantities of food items.

3 Yep, a very little cilantro goes a long long way.

4 Hey Guys, did you know that there is actually a gene that predisposes you to tasting cilantro as soap? It's a simple inheritance from your parents. So check it out. Ask your parents if they think cilantro tastes like soap. Then go ask an evolutionary biologist about it. Just like curling your tongue, this is the product of genetics! Enjoy!
